I do what I do because of the tomato. No, really.
My grandfather dedicated his life to the study of the tomato. He searched for wild tomatoes in the mountains of Peru, along with my young father. My father became fascinated with ancient cultures and became an archaeologist working in Peru. My parents then dragged me around the world during their research and put a camera in my hands to keep me busy - thanks tomatoes!
I went to school and got a degree in photography. Then I went and worked in business development for 10 years, picking up an MBA along the way.
Then I came back to photography, just to complete the long, ironic circle.
